Royal Air Maroc flies from London to Ouarzazate.
If you choose to fly in/out Marrakech we can arrange a private transfer or you may take a bus to Ouarzazate. Please contact us for details.

  • Full valid biking licence
  • enduro boots with full shin & ankle protection - sorry NO walking boots, goggles, gloves, & helmet (with chin guard), enduro riding shirt
  • camel bak type drinking system
  • repatriation & medical insurance
  • 500 EUROS returnable damage deposit for motorbike
  • GPS units available at 10 Euros per day with a 200 Euro damage returnable deposit. We recommend 1 GPS unit per 2 or 3 bikes.

Ride the Spectacular Canyons & Mountains of Southern Morocco. Enjoy some of the fantastic sections in the Dakar Rally along the fringes of the Sahara Desert.

 

The tour is designed for the INTERMEDIATE off road riders. Suitable for enduro bikes. We have KTM 450-EXC bikes available and are included in the price.

On tour there is absolutely no pressure - you ride at your own pace. We will have plenty of rest stops throughout the day to catch your breath, take on food & fluids and admire the incredible views. The focus of this tour is on enjoyment - it is not a race!

OUTLINE ITINERARY
(Wildcat Adventures reserves the right to alter the route based on weather & piste conditions and experience/fitness of the group):

Rated: Intermediate

Day 1 - Arrive in Ouarzazate - short transfer to our 3* hotel with a pool in Ouarzazate.

Day 2 - (approx. 210kms)
Ouarzazate to Dades Gorge
Tour briefing / Gear fitting / Meet your bike
We ride the high desert plateau on the south side of the high Atlas Mountains to the Valley of the Roses. Our exciting ride finishes through a great canyon to our 4 star hotel overlooking the valley of the Roses. An opportunity to have a beer on the terrace of our 4* hotel and enjoy a swim in the pool.

*Space is limited in our support vehicle. We will supply a kit bag to each rider to carry essential gear during the tour. This kit bag will be transported in our support vehicle each day. Any excess baggage will be left at the Kasbah to be picked up at end of the tour.

Day 3 - (approx. 250 kms)
Dades Gorge to the Sahara
A great ride across the high desert plains via the fantastic Todra gorge. We enjoy a picnic lunch before our final ride through small dunes to our 4* hotel. We enjoy cool beers by the pool.

Day 4 - (approx. 150 kms)
Desert Pistes
We ride south to the famous red dunes at Merzouga. After lunch we continue on desert tracks and dried lake beds to our Berber bivouac in the desert (with hot showers). There is an opportunity to enjoy an early evening ride in the local dunes.

Day 5 - (approx. 210 kms)
Dakar Pistes
A challenging and exciting ride on fast winding trails across dry lakebeds and deep sandy riverbeds. We continue south on an old Dakar piste and down a rocky track into the desert town of Zagora. Overnight in a 3* hotel with pool & beer.

Day 6 - (approx. 190 kms)
The Draa Valley
An incredible ride through the winding trails of the Draa Valley palmeries and river beds with a final 50 kms on the roads over a spectacular pass with great views to the High Atlas Mountains. Overnight in our 3* hotel with a pool in Ouarzazate.

Day 7 - Short morning transfer to Ouarzazate airport.


BIKING PROFILE:

Riding conditions in Morocco are exciting and can be challenging due to the dry atmospheric conditions and strong sunlight. The Berber people are friendly and drivers are courteous

Distances vary from 190 kms to 250 kms on the tour
