MOROCCO - The
ultimate destination for the off road adventure rider. An unspoilt land of amazing
contrasts; magnificent mountains, canyons, oasis, and desert landscapes.
Join us for an unforgettable journey
and ride the high passes, valleys, and gorges of the Atlas Mountains. We ride
some of the fantastic sections in the Dakar Rally.
The tour is designed for Novice
(with some experience) to Intermediate off road riders. Suitable for enduro bikes.
We have KTM 450-EXC, Yamaha TTR-250cc, and Honda CRF450 bikes available and are
included in the price.
On
tour there is absolutely no pressure - you ride at your own pace. We will have
plenty of rest stops throughout the day to catch your breath, take on food &
fluids and admire the incredible views. The focus of this tour is on enjoyment
- it is not a race!

OUTLINE
ITINERARY

Day
1 - Arrive in Ouarzazate - transfer to our Kasbah (20 minutes)
Day
2 - Ouarzazate area Day Ride (approx 80 kms)

Meet your bike
Great riding through the foothills of the high Atlas with a
few river crossings to our lunch spot at Ait Ben Haddou. An opportunity to visit
to the World Unesco site of Ait Ben Haddou or relax on the terrace overlooking
the fortified village of Kasbahs. We ride along the high plains back to our Kasbah.
*Space is limited in our support vehicle. We will supply
a kit bag to each rider to carry essential gear during the tour. This kit bag
will be transported in our support vehicle each day. Any excess baggage will be
left at the Kasbah to be picked up at end of the tour.
Day
3 - Ouarzazate to Boumalne Dades (approx 200kms)
We ride the high desert plateau
on the south side of the high Atlas Mountains to the Valley of the Roses. Our
exciting ride finishes through a great canyon to our 4 star hotel overlooking
the valley of the Roses. An opportunity to have a beer on the terrace and enjoy
a swim in the pool.
Day 4
- Boumalne Dades area Day Ride (approx 163kms)
A
magnificent ride around the volcanic peaks of the Jbel Sahro Mountains. We return
to our 4 star hotel.
Day
5- Traverse of the Jbel Sahro Mountains (approx 110kms)
We ride south over
the Jbel Sahro mountains with its magnificient volcanic rock spires. Our lunch
spot on the summit of the high pass at 7000 feet provides magnificent views to
the desert. Our exciting descent takes us down ridges through canyons and dry
river beds and remote Berber villages to our overnight stop in a traditional Kasbah.
Day
6 - Draa Valley to Ouarzazate (approx 185 kms)
We head west through the palmeries,
Berber villages, and the patchwork fields of the Draa Valley. Our final descent
provides us with spectacular views of the snow covered High Atlas Mountains. Overnight
in traditional Kasbah & celebration dinner.
Day
7 - Morning transfer to airport (20 minutes).
