1 - Meet at accommodation in Tarifa, Southern
Spain at 19:00hrs for a tour briefing and introductions. Overnight
in hotel. (Riding down through Spain is quick and easy.

tour) Day 2 - Tarifa to Middle Atlas Mountains
A short ferry to Morocco. We ride through the Rif mountains
to our quiet town in the Middle Atlas. Enroute we visit the famous Roman site
of Volubilis. Overnight in hotel. 240 Miles

us to get to the best offroad riding quickly) Day 3 -
High Atlas Mountains An
exciting ride through the snow peaked High Atlas to our mountain auberge in the
heart of the Atlas. Overnight in mountain auberge.

4- High Atlas Mountains An
exciting ride over one of the most spectacular of the high Atlas passes through
remote Berber villages to our mountain auberge on the high plateau. Overnight

day ride through the incredible gorges of the Atlas. Overnight

6 - Atlas Mountains to Sahara We
ride into the volcanic mountains of the Jbel Sarhro and cross the plains to our
desert auberge at the foot of Erg Chebbi -
Morocco's highest dune. We
overnight in a desert Kasbah with pool.

7- High Desert plains A classic high desert plains
ride through remote villages and palmeries to our auberge in the Jbel Sarhro mountains. We

the pistes of the Draa Valley, crossing the Jbel Rhart to th desert town of Zagora.

rollercoaster ride with an opportunity to explore
some of the ancient Berber trading routes. We cross the Jbel Sarhro to our magnificent

10 - AitBenHaddou A
day ride on the pistes of the High Atlas Mountains visiting the World UNESCO site
of AitBenHaddou. Overnight
in a magnificent kasbah. 50-100

11- Marrakech We traverse the High Atlas Mountains
over the Tizi-n-tichka pass - one of the most beautiful in the world to the imperial
city of Marrakech. Overnight in hotel with pool.

north to Tangier on the new motorway. Afternoon fast ferry from Tangier to Tarifa.

tour there is absolutely no pressure - you ride at your own pace. We
will have plenty of rest stops throughout the day to take on food & fluids
and admire the incredible views. The
focus of this tour is on enjoyment - it is not a race!

BIKES: BMW GS series, Honda Africa Twin, KTM Adventure series, and Yamaha
Tenere are some examples of suitable bikes for this great tour. Offroad tyres
are required (you will NOT wear them out riding to/from UK)

adventure tour is designed specifically for solo riders using GS & large Adventure
/ Big Trailie motorcycles SUITABLE BIKES:

have been riding offroad in Morocco for over 25 years! THE
ROUTE  Desert
& Mountains Raid Route
MOROCCO
- a paradise for the offroad adventure motorcyclist. An unspoilt land of amazing
contrasts, magnificent mountains, forests and desert landscapes.
Join
us for an unforgettable adventure and explore the remote tracks, high passes,
valleys and spectacular gorges of the high Atlas Mountains, Jbel Sarhro, and the
fringes of the Sahara.
We
pass through Berber villages and witness a way of life unchanged for centuries. We
take the time to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait BenHaddou - the magnificent
village of kasbahs on a mountainside made famous by many classic films. 
Before
we finish our ride in Morocco we visit the most famous and most vibrant of the
Imperial cities - Marrakech. 
A typical day's
riding starts at 8am and we reach our destination around 4pm.

TERRAIN Our
tour is a mix of road and offroad riding. The offroad sections (pistes) are generally
landrover width. The surfaces are a combination of hard packed (hamada) and gravel
roads. There will be dry riverbed crossings with a combination of sand and gravel.
Any water crossings will be very shallow and short. Offroad tyres are essential.

The final balance of your holiday is due 3 months prior to departure at which
point you will receive a full road map of Morocco with the route marked up. When
we meet you will receive a map providing a detailed description of each day's
ride, highlights, fuel points, meeting points, and accommodation address and telephone
numbers.

Offroad course is the benchmark for joining our tour along with several years
touring on the road. Our
tour has been specifically designed to appeal to riders with a moderate amount
of road experience and the basic offroad experience described above. Our
clients are mature riders and are interested in enjoying the scenery and the culture
in wild unspoilt places. The
route provides an ideal combination of exciting surfaced roads and easy offroad
riding in the mountains and the desert. The route is set up to accommodate large
Trail bikes ie 600 to 1200cc.
