Why aren't we driving through Europe to get to Turkey?
Our
experience touring in Turkey throughout the years has dictated our choice of entry.
Our chosen route provides the maximum time in the areas selected in Eastern Turkey.
The approach from Italy via land (Bulgaria etc) through Istanbul is extremely
busy and the riding hazardous - 4 long days' riding.
The approach from
Italy to Greece involves an overnight ferry and 3 long days' riding and the coastal
road south of Gallipoli is extremely busy with lorries.
The SEA CRUISE
option is the perfect solution as it provides time to rest and relax and avoid
unnecesary hazards.
