You must give your
insurance company a call to tell them of your destination(s) and duration of stay.
Your insurance company will issue a green card or amend your insurance policy
to provide cover.
5.
Will I be carrying my luggage all the time?
Only in Europe. Once we arrive in Morocco, we are greeted by our
support vehicle and it remains with us throughout until we leave
Morocco. The land rover support vehicle will carry excess baggage,
water, emergency fuel, snacks, and a basic tool kit.

You must ensure that you have sufficient
insurance cover to have you and your motorcycle repatriated to your country of
residence should you be unable to ride at all due to illness.

We do not ride in a convoy but rather in small
groups with each group establishing their own pace and style of riding. You may
ride alone, in small groups, or decide to ride with the guide.
8.
How much experience is required?
Experience in touring abroad is not required
– your guide will ensure that you are given the correct advice and care. It is
essential that you are comfortable riding your motorbike and that you ride your
own style and pace – we’ll take care of the rest.
For
our GS & Large Trailie OFFROAD Tours you

ascend
& descend hills with confidence
ride ruts
river crossings
ride muddy or sandy terrain
lift, manoeuvre, and balance your bike
hill recovery situations

Distances vary
from 140 miles to 350 miles on the tour (with one 427 mile day). The shorter mileage

terrain, climate, temperature, and points of interest. Adequate time is provided
to relax and even enjoy some Moroccan retail therapy.

What happens if my bike breaks down?
AA or RAC will provide emergency breakdown
and recovery in Europe. It is therefore essential that you obtain the cover prior
to starting the tour. There is no similar service in Morocco at the moment. However
Wildcat Adventures in association with our Moroccan agent would endeavour to arrange
recovery of bike and rider (pillion) to the nearest garage in Morocco for bike
repair. If necessary we would assist in the recovery of bike and rider (pillion)
to the ferry at Tangier. In the unlikely event that these services become necessary
in Morocco the client would be responsible for all recovery/repair and associated
costs incurred including accommodation, meals, telephone charges, etc.
13.
What range should my fuel tank have?
You should be familiar with your fuel
tank range. Our support vehicle will carry emergency fuel should you misjudge
your range. Each day we will provide you with details on the distances to the
filling stations. N.B. It is not necessary to carry additional fuel cans/jerry
cans on your bike.

Money is easily obtained
at most ATM machines, banks or currency exchange offices. Traveller’s cheques
can be exchanged at most banks. Moroccan currency can be purchased after we have
cleared entry customs.
15.
How much money do I bring?
While travelling through Spain the Euro will be
applicable. A moderate sum to cover lunch, dinner, snacks, and fuel will be required.
Fuel can be purchased on all major credit cards. While travelling through Morocco,
Moroccan Dirhams are required and these can only be purchased on entry into the

route through Spain. Fuel in Morocco is at least 20% cheaper than in Europe. Credit
cards are accepted at some garages in Morocco.

Widely accepted throughout Spain and
in major stores, hotels, and fuel stations in Morocco.
